How the group fits together.

Roth Turbines builds the wind technology. RES engineers and services battery storage and delivers wind+BESS as a single package. MRMDC combines both with solar and compute into a stand-alone renewable data centre. Roth Marine applies the same engineering discipline to environmental recovery in the Caribbean. Independent companies and brands — one direction of travel.

Roth Energy Storage Ltd · trading as RES and MRMDC

Battery energy storage, engineered end-to-end.

RES is a UK-based BESS engineering, procurement and long-term service company for the behind-the-meter market — from a single commercial site to multi-megawatt deployments. UK-certified, UK-installed, UK-serviced.

What RES does

One UK contract. End-to-end accountability. Long-term service.

  • Engineering & design — site assessment, demand-profile analysis, system sizing and grid-code compliance (UKCA, IEC 62619/62933, G98/G99) handled end-to-end.
  • Productised range — RES-Compact (100–300 kWh), RES-Pro (300 kWh–1 MWh) and RES-Container (1–2 MWh), plus engineered-to-order systems at larger scale.
  • Wind + BESS bundles — generation and storage delivered as one integrated package with WindSurf™ turbines from partner Roth Turbines: one contract, one warranty, one project team.
  • 24/7 service — insurance-backed warranties, remote monitoring and rapid-response service across the installed base.
  • Sectors — commercial & industrial, data centres, EV charging hubs, telecoms, rail, water and agriculture.
Why behind-the-meter, why now.

UK grid-connection waits of 5–15 years, accelerating demand charges and resilience requirements have made on-site storage the practical answer for the under-served 100 kWh–2 MWh segment. RES exists for exactly that gap.

Roth Marine · Saint Lucia

Turning the Caribbean's waste oil into value — and out of the environment.

Roth Marine is developing the Saint Lucia Used Oil Recovery & Re-Refining Plant (SLUORP) — the first formal waste-oil collection and re-refining infrastructure for Saint Lucia and the wider OECS region.

The project

Recover. Re-refine. Return to use.

  • The problem — used lubricating and hydrocarbon oils across the region currently have no formal re-refining route, creating a persistent environmental liability for islands and coastal waters.
  • The plant — collection and re-refining capacity of 5,000–20,000 litres per day, converting waste oils into base oils, industrial fuel oil, asphalt extender and carbon black.
  • The impact — a first-mover environmental asset for the OECS with strong ESG credentials, developed with government and development-finance engagement.
  • Status — in development; partnership and investment enquiries welcome.
Same group discipline, different frontier.

Roth Marine applies the group's engineering and project rigour to environmental recovery — infrastructure that pays its way while cleaning up a long-standing regional problem.
